September’s message from our President

Greetings to All,

As summer comes to a close, I am anticipating a new year of piano and a new student! Dr. Dan Phillips has retired from his orthopedic practice and decided to learn to play the piano!  He is our very own Wilma Phillips’s son. Let’s hope I can make a difference in his retirement!

Fall also is the time our 2023-2024 year is about to start! This year’s schedule promises many interesting programs and social opportunities.  Our first Board meeting was held, and I am impressed with the remarkable women who serve on our strong and inspiring Board.  Our surprise guest was Sue Olari, and it was a delight to visit with her. We look forward to Sue joining us at our luncheons soon.

Please note that on September 14, Bluegrass has closed the facility to the Public due to a Golf Tournament.  Our luncheon has been moved to The Lighthouse on the Lake in Hendersonville for the month of September.  The address is 133 Sanders Ferry Road.  Tell your friends!!

I hope everyone will come and join in the fun of launching a new year. We will celebrate with a delicious lunch, an interesting speaker, a Charity of the month, and don’t forget door prizes.  If you bring a door prize, please put your name on it.  We are all enriched by the connections we make through the Activities, the Coffee Connections, and our luncheons. Sharing these connections with others will help strengthen our Club and help us grow. We will welcome several new members who joined us in the summer.
