November muses and October Pix

Greetings to All,

It seems that fall has arrived.  I enjoyed the days with a chill in the air along with all that we enjoy during Fall. Football is big on the weekends at our house as my husband is a big Notre Dame fan even though he says the team won’t be in the playoffs. I’ve tried to soothe his sadness with banana nut bread, pie, cake, and candy!!

As we look forward to our November meeting, make your reservations early with Rita Krupp. November’s speaker will be Miss Makayla who was the first child to live in Grace Place.  Thus, our featured charity will be Grace Place. Mary Lou McNabb and her Giving Tree Committee will be ready for your candy purchases to help raise funds for our charity. Lockey Rodden will have Activity Sheets ready for you to sign up to try a new activity.

We will have a NOVEMBER MARKETPLACE this year!  Kay Rorick has 6 vendors for her vision of a Marketplace. Come and enjoy the day and meet some new friends. If you have a small business you want to feature, contact Kay by November 1.

As we enter our season of Thanksgiving, I want you to know how thankful I am for this amazing group of women.  I appreciate the kind words and encouraging notes I have received.  Hope to see all of you at our luncheon.

Regards, Bobette
