For the fifth year the Hendersonville High School Select Chamber Choir, under the direction of R. Elizabeth Evans, the Director of Choirs, will be singing as our special guests. The Select Choir is a highly competitive auditioned ensemble which excels in many different vocal genres. Rooted in 30 years of history, the choir is traditionally a performing arts course which travels, tours, competes and gives back to the community through volunteering and charity concerts. The Select Chamber Choir will be performing in the London International Choir Festival in 2020
Our December luncheon will include our Ornament Exchange, so remember to find something fun and wrap it so no one can see what it is! Surprise is part of the fun!
Our Charity of the Month: The Gallatin Child Care Center, Inc. It is a 501-C3 organization whose mission is to provide quality childcare in a positive environment affordable to parents of at-risk disadvantaged, low income and/or minority children, and foster children that have been removed from their homes for the prevention of child abuse and/or neglect in Sumner County. Proceeds from our Money Tree Fundraiser will help support the vital work of The Gallatin Child Care Center. Please join in this effort by purchasing candy from Sharyn Evans, Fundraising Director, at our December Luncheon. Depending on how much candy you buy, you will receive free raffle tickets. It will support a great cause and you may win $50 in the drawing!
In addition to supporting the money tree, please bring a new, unwrapped toy for 2 to 14 age children!
