December Luncheon a Wonderful Holiday Celebration

The December 8th Luncheon at the Bluegrass Country Club had it all! All holiday… There was the “Best Christmas Sweater,” beautiful music by the Henderson High School Select Chamber Choir, an ornament exchange, great friends and we raised over $400 for Toys for Tots!

Newcomers president, Cheryl Sherwood and our "Thinking of You" director, Carrol Pitts were pleased to present the donation raised by Newcomers and Community Club of Sumner County for Mary's Magical Place. Rachael McAuley, far left, is Mary McAuley's mother, the deceased, handicapped child for whom the project/park is named. Project board member Carol Ernst accepted the check.
