The weather has been very hot and I hope you have enjoyed being with loved ones during this summer season. We lost one of our founding members this past month, Margaret Alexander, and we will be honoring her commitment to the club at the September meeting. Two years ago we celebrated our 25th Anniversary and she was there for the cake cutting. Remember to invite your friends for the September Meeting on Thursday, September 13th, where we will welcome Johnathan Kayne as our Guest Speaker. Johnathan is a native of Hendersonville and is an American fashion designer, specializing in evening wear gowns. He was a contestant on the third season of the Bravo reality series Project Runway and his most recent gowns were worn at the CMT awards, as well as, the Academy Awards.
